Jerry Reder’s philosophy centers on serving client needs in the same manner he would choose for his own family in a similar situation. In fact, the ability to place client needs and values first in the financial decision making process is the very reason he and firm co-founder Cory McDaniel established Laurus Financial Group, LLC in 2003. A decade later, Jerry serves an even broader range of his clients’ personal and business financial needs, including retirement and estate planning, insurance and risk management, employee benefits and more.
As a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Jerry embraces a comprehensive approach to wealth management where investment, insurance, estate and tax planning strategies are carefully aligned with individual needs and objectives. He brings particular specialization in retirement planning and retirement distribution strategies designed to help work towards financial independence. He seeks to ensure portfolio investments are closely monitored for potential impact from changing economic and market conditions, as well as changes in individual client circumstances.
Jerry obtained his ChFC® and CLU® certifications from The American College. He is a former member of the Oregon Life Underwriters Association – Portland.
A Sigma Chi alumnus, Jerry graduated from Washington State University in1980 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He remains active in the local community and served as President of the Board of Directors for the Belmont School from 1994 – 1999.
